Vancouver is one of Canada most beautiful and diverse cities, offering for international students a big variety of activities and entertainment options to enjoy. Whether you like outdoor adventures, art or culture, or are just looking fun with a small budget, this city have something for everyone. One of the biggest advantajes of study in Vancouver is the easy acces to the nature. Students can do hiking in places like Grouse Mountain, Lynn Canyon or the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge. In the winter months, activities like snowboard and skying in Cypress or Whistler are a must to try. Also, many parks like Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park or Pacific Spirit Regional Park are free and are good for do picnic, jogging or riding bike, specially during spring or summer.

Vancouver also have easy access to many galeries, like the Vancouver Art Gallery, or go to concerts and shows in places like Orpheum Theatre or Queen Elizabeth Theatre. During the year, the city do many cultural festivals, like the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Celebration of Light fireworks. This events are many times free or have discounts for students. For students with small budget, there is many funny and cheap things to do. Museums have sometimes reduced prices or free days. The Vancouver Public Library is not just good for study, but also have free workshops, movies nights and comunity events. Join to student clubs or cultural groups is a good idea for meet new people and feel like in home. 
Downtown Vancouver is famous for the night life. Even if the legal age for drink alcohol is 19, there are a lot of places with no alcohol like cafes, cultural events or restaurants where students can pass a good time. Streets like Robson, Commercial Drive and Granville have karaokes, music live and food for night. Also, Vancouver is very near to many beautiful places like Victoria, Whistler or Sunshine Coast, where student agencies or university groups do trips with discounts and special prices. Live and study in Vancouver is not only about classes. Is about enjoy, relax and make memories that you never forget.
