As a student, I realized that finding affordable meals without sacrificing flavour was hard. For international students, it's important to know what to spect in each season because the weather change a lot, also the clothes, the activities, and sometimes the prices too. Winter go from December to February and can be very rainy, in Vancouver, it don’t snow much, but it rains a lot almost every day. Is important to have a good water jacket and shoes that don’t get wet. Even if it’s not so cold like in other parts of Canada, the wind and rain make you feel more colder.     Grocery Shopping                  The best tips on where to do your shopping             Grocery shopping in Vancouver can looks expensive or confusing in the begining, but there are many ways for save money and find good things if you know where to look. One of the most know supermarket here is Real Canadian Superstore, who has everything. There is a lot of variety: fruits, vegetals, meats, milk products, cleaning things, snacks, kitchen stuffs and more. Superstore belong to a company that also have No Frills, which is like a more cheap version. No Frills has lower prices, but sometimes not have so much variety or famous brands. Costco is another good opcion for students. Is a different kind of store but very usefull. You can buy big packs, for example 12 yogurts or 10 cans of food.
